She successfully owned and operated a retail store in Southwest Austin for a decade.  Her entrepreneurial pursuits then led her to running the marketing department for a local bank for three years.  The sale of the bank culminated in a decade-long stint in executive management within the title insurance industry where she masterfully facilitated professionals and clients in navigating the complexities of the title closing process, overseeing the sales and marketing staff, and all while orchestrating effective marketing strategies throughout the company.

Licensed Broker and Real Estate Expertise:

Stepping away from her corporate endeavors, she embarked on the path as a licensed Realtor and ultimately a licensed Broker.  Armed with her wealth of experience and expertise, she adeptly assists clients in their real estate transactions, ensuring seamless processes and optimal outcomes.

Local, State and National-Level Engagements:

Cathy’s influence extends to the local, state and national stage through her leadership roles in key committees within the Austin Board of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS® Association and the National Association of REALTORS®. Her unparalleled commitment and influence in the real estate industry earned her a seat on both the state and national Board of Directors for two terms. She also served eight years as a Director on the Austin Board of REALTORS® as well as, their 2013 President of the Board.

Diverse Industry Involvement:

Beyond her local, state and national Realtor’s association engagements, the impact has been profound across multiple associations.  As one of the founder’s and 2007 President of the Central Texas Commercial Association of REALTORS® (CTCAR), and one of the visionaries and first President of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), she laid the foundation for the professional growth of these organizations. She has also served as a Director for CCIM, Women’s Council of REALTORS®, and the Home Builder’s Association of Austin, where her insights resonate deeply.

Community Champion:

Her altruism finds expression through her community involvements.  She has left an indelible mark on organizations where she has served. Some of these include the Board of Directors for South Austin Hospital, Austin Chamber of Commerce (3 terms), Life Savings Bank, Downtown Austin Alliance, Board member and then Chair of the American Heart Association’s Austin Chapter, Commissioner and President of Emergency Services District #9, Secretary of the State Reserve Officers Association and President of both the Estates of Barton Creek and Valley of Lost Creek Homeowner’s Association.
